Our Sunday walk and German gardens

Germans love to garden. They rent out little plots on the edge of cities so they can dig around in the dirt on weekends. Welcome to the small world of the Schrebergarten.  These are gardens are everywhere surrounding Naurod and other small villages, towns and cities.  There are a lot of veggie & fruit trees in most gardens others are grass and flowers with a very small cabin. Some gardens house animals like chickens, rabbits and other small creatures.  The pictures are from Naurod and our walk today.  We also found a field of flowers you can cut and take for a small fee.
