The Night of The Churches - Wiesbaden

Market Church - huge church near the big open market area.

Last night Annika the pre-primary teacher and I took the bus into Wiesbaden for "The Night of The Churches,"  It is an event where a bunch of churches are open for viewing, some services and a lot of singing.  We took a bus up the hill to the Russian  Orthodox church, but it was closed and the bus was not coming back for an hour.  We decided to take the tram down the hill and ended up on a street that was having a "red carpet" event.  Lots of vendors, wine, food and people watching.  We ended up at an American speaking church, St. Augustine of Canterbury.  We listened to a beautiful choir.  It was a very nice evening!
